Not now, but lets look into 2024 where DJT is POTUS again.
#1 Putin and DJT are "besties" (unlike any other POTUS since WWII)
#2 DJT pulls us out of NATO
Without a non USA NATO and control over DJT via wife and DB Putin would keep going in a heartbeat.
Power is control over $$$$ and resources.
