Israel is not blameless in this war, especially early on in the nation’s history, but the most recent attacks (last 20 years) and proposed 2 state solutions by the appeasement side of Israel that was roundly rejected by the PLO show that recently the fault lies with Palestinian separatists

The Gazans could end this tonight if they chose: deliver the hostages, whatever their condition; hand over Sinwar and Deif; and submit to a thorough, peaceful inspection that enables the IDF to get all of that crap out of there.
But they will never do that because the Gazans - not just Hamas - are a bunch of fricked up terrorists, in on all if this shite from the beginning, just like the Red Crescent, the UN, and the AP.
They office together, break bread together, and conspire together always. That's why these frickers were kicked put of Kuwait, Jordan & Egypt. Who would want them in their midsts?
They have fricked up now though, and unless the Pals are really fortunate the invasion of Rafah is likely going to be pretty rough, as there is no further retreat.
I don't relish this or any war, and I am sorry for any innocents caught up in the middle of all this, but shite like 10/7 cannot be tolerated.
If the IDF walked away tonight satisfied they made their point, then fine, that's their call. If on the other hand they razed Rafah, well, actions like 10/7 have serious consequences and I am willing to look away and let them go as far as they deem necessary to get past the cycle of Iranian-backed Muslim violence.
