Good morning, folks.

I have a large rack of spareribs out to thaw. Half day, then fire up the smoker.

Morning, Hangit

Still dealing with the headaches from it but all the CO has to be out of my blood by now. Brain is definitely moving faster than it was. Want to see how I can read the court today. I was a step behind still on Tuesday.

God, you just ooze 40-50's suburban country club housewife so bored to take up and talk tennis like a S. Williams

Hey! I want to make nationals with my team this year before my line 1’s get bumped up!

Don’t need to be mean. It’s a pretty valid method of measuring how my brain function is improving

Whatever helps I suppose. May I ask how much these "training" lessons and tournaments cost each month?

USTA membership is approx $40/season includes all matches in league play.
No costs to be on a team unless your team is based out of a private club. There are plenty of county owned facilities to play out of if you choose.
My club is a tennis academy, not a country club, and the dues are about the same as a Lifetime Fitness membership.
Team uniforms are about $150/ season depending what the team chooses.
Tournaments cost anywhere from $25 - 50/person but are optional.
Team drills are approx $25/week.

I’ve competed my entire life and enjoy the exercise. I get to spend week days with women I love to be around and who support each other and we frequently socialize as couples. We are all super competitive and all have competed at different levels our entire lives.

Money isn’t an issue for us but playing Usta tennis isn’t that expensive of an hobby and many working women compete. You just have to be able to get on a team.
