Because Americans were sold a lie about Ukraine.
Many lies. It was all a lie.
Many lies. It was all a lie.

Trump should pick Putin as his VP!

Nothing will justify invading.

Why?
We only get to hear our media's version of Putin.
Let the people hear what he has to say directly and let us be the judge.
We don't have to believe him.

If they detain Tucker in Russia can we do a swap and give them back Britney Griner?

Is it out yet?

Sounds like you will lap up the interview then.

Actual journalism is their kryptonite.

It's a sad day when so many of the Americans that were raised back in the Cold War era trust a Russian leader to be more truthful than our own president and congress, yet here we are, and I'm one of those people.

Here’s my thing. Neville Chamberlain was sent to Germany to see if they could avoid war, and of course as we know, Hitler reneged as he did with everyone, but at least something was done in order to try and avoid millions of people losing their lives in a world war.
At present, we have a journalist who, perish the thought, is going to interview a man who we may very well be at war with, like journalists tend to do because it’s their profession to get to uncover the truth for the people that depend on them to do so, and he is taking so much flack for it that it’s amazing for Americans to consider this strange to do so.
He isn’t brokering any deal. We can still go head first into WWIII and nobody is going to stop us if that’s what we are hell bent on doing, but he’s just getting the other side of the coin so that we are all informed.
It’s as if people really don’t understand that such a war with Russia, and maybe China as well, will be most costly in human lives that anything we’ve seen over the past almost 80 years now, and nobody is insulated from the effects in the wake of the nuclear age we now live in. There is no insulating ourselves from the unthinkable effects of such warfare, but somehow, we are playing around with this like there is.

What is about the Ukraine that makes it so they don't want a journalist interviewing Putin? What is about the Ukraine that made them impeach a President for making a phone call?

Just for that, Chuck You Schumer is going to send your MAGA kids to fight in a foreign war!

Meh, this isn't going to move the needle. The only people that are going to pay attention to this already have Putin's cock halfway down their throat anyway.
Elmo already let's the russian trollbots crawl all over twitter spewing propaganda. Now Putin gets another feather in his cap to have an american citizen broadcast his bullshite.
The number of people who will watch this and come away thinking "Ya know, that Putin fella isn't half bad" is near zero. This is just fan service to the red hats that are already in camp "Russia good/Ukraine bad".
Putin already fricked around invading Ukraine and only strengthened the coalition that is tired of Russia's shite. It's born out now that Russia's military is a paper tiger with their only strength being the number of bodies they can feed into the woodchipper. The only chance Russia has of success is cutting off the flow of weapons from the US which is why the maga minions are trying to kill any further aid.
Reagan is probably rolling in his grave at how a large chunk of his party has coalesced around Russia/Saudi/insert fascist dictator regime

quote:Not necessarily a lie as everyone knew it but the war was avoidable but Biden forced it. Putin will drive that point home. Believe it or not, I guess.
Because Americans were sold a lie about Ukraine.
