We already know Pokey couldn't coach against better prepared teams, but who brought in more elite talent in just a few short years?

Well I guess it depends on the recruit? Pokey has one distinct advantage over Kim.

What exactly does that mean? A better-prepared team is effectively a better-coached team, is it not? So you are saying she couldn't coach against better-coached teams?

Pokey took LSU teams to 3 straight final fours, first as an interim then twice as Head Coach. Then her team went to their 4th straight after she resigned.

IMO that takes both recruiting AND coaching. Pokey would have been the first LSU coach to win a Natty in WBB if she had not been run off for an inappropriate sexual relationship with a player(s).

ETA: My memory of the aftermath was incorrect, I thought it ended up being a GA she had a relationship with, not a player. Subsequently, I saw that was not the case and that there were allegations of more than one player over time.

Augustus/Fowles are a couple of the best basketball players of all time in their sport. I don’t know if we have a caliber of those two quality yet so far under kim (Williams can be one one day) but kim has brought in lots of elite talent in a short period of time from the HS ranks and the transfer portal.

Kim got LSU over the hump though. Parity today though is much more than back then

Kim and it's not close. Augustus was a local product and was easy pickings.
