How accurate is the MSY Parking tracker online

Yes, this is a serious question. I know MSY is not a crack operation.
Usually get a ride to the airport but have to park this time. Tried to book surface lot for easy access but not available. Currently the have 140 spots listed as available (2000 in the economy lot which I didn't want to use, 969 in Long Term)
Is this counter in any way actually reliable?
Follow up...does the shuttle run often for the economy lot, or is that a shite show?

I've found it to be pretty accurate.
Are you needing real time- as in flying out today?
If not flying today I would make a reservation and you are guaranteed a space. Especially this weekend with holiday flights it will be busy as hell.

I'm not flying out today but pretty soon. Last week I could book Surface but waited, now not given the option anymore, which probably means it will be very full when I do fly.
I will likely just end up trying Long Term and paying the extra instead of dealing with the shuttle for Economy or ParkUSA

Short term is like $3 day more than long term. $15 ain’t gonna break me after a vacation.

Tracker is pretty damn accurate. I use it weekly.
Just use Short Term. But don't tell anyone. I don't need the peasants taking my premium spot on Floor 4.*
Use 4 and the crosswalk takes you right to the check in desks.

go up the ramp to departures, drop your bags and wife
go straight up to the left to short term, park on 4
walk back down the ramp the way you drove in, back to the curb
only way to go
