I’m crying homeowner tears because my insurance is skyrocketing and that impacts my family more than the Texas border.
Lady, your homeowners rate have nothing to do with sending troops to close the border.
The reason your insurance rates are high though is because: (1) we have a civil justice system in this state that rewards frivolous lawsuits and we need major tort reform; (2) because our state got hit by two Cat 4 hurricanes in successive years; and (3) hyper-inflation caused by Joe Biden’s out of control spending has increased the cost of building materials.

DeSantis and Newsom prioritized that but maybe they should care more about Texas than their own constituents.
Have you seen the rise of costs in Florida?

The regular legislative session, by law, does not occur until April. This isn’t a dictatorship.

Trump signed the largest spending bill in our nation’s history.
They’re all the same.

A special session was called to take place this month.

What has he done so far to address this crisis? Be specific.
Nothing. He can't wave a wand. He has been the Governor for a month.

But he can travel to Texico for soundbytes in that month. That’s the whole point.

Let’s see how the special session goes. Hopefully we get real tort reform instead of the watered down half measures Edwards signed.

Will that prove that Trump and Biden have different spending habits?
They’re different sides of the same coin.

I hope so too but I don’t think it will be addressed. So far I’ve heard issues like allowing minors to be jailed with adults as pressing legislation that needs to be passed being the priority.

Within his first month of leadership he’s traveling to Texas and talking about sending our resources there while his constituents can’t afford homeowners insurance.
Where would you rather the NG be, and what does it have to do with insurance?

I’m not sold on Landry just yet, I think he has some BS car salesman in him.
BUT THIS IS THE RIGHT MOVE!
Without a Border, who cares if we have your insurance worries! It won’t matter if this border isn’t corrected. Insurance will be like a JV team worry.
Border is #1 right now & we need a collective effort to stand against the MACHINE OF DC!
But you sound like you may be a Biden guy? So maybe you won’t understand the threat to our country that’s going on at our Border.
Maybe you should move to a border town and house some migrants “4Cubbie”

It's crazy to think that if Biden were to attack our National Guardsmen (one of which is one of my sons), that I would flee down to fight side by side with son. Crazy times.

Makes more sense than sending them to Iraq.

Proud to say we’re all in…

Mo. Governor Mike Parson shared on "X" that he supports the decisions of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott when it comes to the border. Parson said he doesn't believe the federal government is doing its job to protect the southern border, and calls on it to change that. "I'm telling you, every state needs to step up and make sure we're doing the right thing by enforcing the laws of the United States of America. And if they are not gonna do that then that's why you got over half the states of the United States to come down here and help secure the border," Parson said.

Landry is doing his part to save this country.
The only reason Democrats are flooding the country with illegals is for the future votes. They want total control and unchallenged power.
