A few months ago I bought gas at the marina. They charged me the 3% fee and tax on top of the fee. I only bought gas. I don’t know how they can justify sales tax on gas. That was my only purchase.

Gas that isn't used on government owned roadways falls under sales tax rules in Louisiana.
