And all those concrete rivers will wash it directly out to sea, and they'll be crying drought in a month.

California hasn't had issues with drought in nearing a year now, and just had maybe their slowest fire season in more than a decade.

Meanwhile, in Louisiana......drought, wildfires, salt water intrusion, and people panicking over drinking water.

UCLA has recorded nearly 12 inches of rain in the last 24 hours, a 1 in 1000-year rainfall rainfall event for Westwood.

A truly unprecedented storm in modern history for the region as an atmospheric river stalls over the region.

Avalanche in Lee Canyon near Las Vegas. At least five people missing. Emergency vehicles can't get through, and the snow is too much for plows to clear.

California's going to be fine for a while after this. I'm hoping Lake Mead gets a bit of help as well. Haven't kept up with it but it was low as shite a couple of years ago.

@gdimeweather

A rough calculation estimates that 5.6 trillion gallons of water has fallen across CA the past two days

If only we could have funneled all of it into Lake Meade. The lake holds approx 9.3 trillion gallons but is only 36% full. 5.6 trillions gallons would just about fill it up

The rain doesn’t really do anything for California really. The majority of their water usage is based on snowpack and the spring and summer runoff. Luckily they are getting a bunch of snow in the mountains as well.

That shite pisses me off to no end. Stop driving with your fricking flashers on, it is illegal in most states and super distracting for everyone on the road.

No, it’s because guys like you have odd perspectives on everyone else in the world. You seem to have persecutory delusions, in which you think everyone is out to get you. So a few commentators say that NOLA should not have been built at sea level and you think the poor bastards getting slammed in California were in agreement with them. And this in spite of the fact that your fellow Americans, including those aforementioned Californians, ponied up billions of dollars to help rebuild NOLA and surrounding areas.

In the 7 years I worked in California, never once did I hear or see a single person react with glee to a hurricane or other disaster in the South.

Whereas we all can see just from here, how many people want people in California to suffer.

I always did my best to show topics like this to the people there, and to get them to hate southerners as much as I possibly could. They were, to a person, incredulous that their fellow countrymen were that hateful.

The average Californians spends 0% of their time thinking about the South, while their all up in the heads of the retards that make up this region.
