This. We cut back on some things others splurged on, but no regrets, none whatsoever.

not having to wake up and get the kids out of the house or pick them up from daycare on the way home is a really nice perk.

though with school starting next year, that will change

THIS x 100....married life for nearly 30 years and spouse has never worked outside the home.....kids all homeschooled and two now in college. Haven't had to reprogram them from getting woke leftist indoctrination from government school system. It's all a matter of priorities....your kids, or the latest and greatest vehicles, toys, trips, etc.
