Unless I'm missing something, he probably doesn't get a job this offseason. If everyone is right on Allen failing this year, Glenn seems like a reasonably safe bet to be the saints' next coach. He's done a hell of a job at Detroit

I prefer the Houston OC Slovik right now. When in doubt go with the offensive guy, a lot easier to find & keep a good DC.

No, I get the point... Allen (in this hypothetical) didn't work out, so no one in that tree will work.

Went from 28th in scoring D last year to 23rd this season and dead last in total d last year to 19th this season. DVOA tells a different story though - 13th in nfl. I think Glenn has them going in the right direction.

I think suggesting a guy who won’t get hired because his D has mostly sucked this year so he should be available to us next year is dumb

No, links to teams is sort of a thing to look at. Chargers, titans, falcons, and commanders have/will interview him for HC. I'm not just bringing up a guy that no one thinks is any good

They're an offensive team that fakes punts and goes on 4th more than anyone, I think advanced stats are a better measure of their defense
