Try this
Unfiltered yelp reviews
Yelp sucks, but that link offers some very good tips on how to get past their idiot filters.

Google posts the star rating of the business in their search results. It’s total horseshite

That’s the thing we have a lot of positive reviews but they are hidden by yelp
There’s a small little grey button that blends in with the background that says Not recommended by Yelp - when you click on that butting it displays all of our positive reviews)
Then whenever someone types in our company on google, the Yelp link is #2 in the search results with a fricking 2 star rating from reviews 5-6 years ago

Yelp is a scam don't use them.

They do this so you’ll pay them.

Google maps is so good I don't even know why anyone uses yelp anymore

Can you ask your good customers to leave you positive reviews? Maybe offer them a free order of fries on their next visit?

Same business model as the BBB. Pay them and they suppress the negative reviews. It's extortion
This. I used to believe this was a conspiracy theory, until I owned a business. As long as I paid Yelp, my store was consistently around 4.3-4.5 stars. As soon as I stopped paying them, it started falling. I let it get to about 3.7, then I renewed, and like magic, it floated back up into the low 4's.

Well, you're an idiot, so I'm not surprised your business sucks.

It's gotta be bad for me to leave a bad review. I've left 1 in my life and still haven't been back.

I bet if you buy some advertising things change real quick

Create a brag sheet of referrals, positive review, etc. to hand to customers. Yelp is nothing more than a soapbox for Karens. What is your rating on Google?

YELP acts like fricking gangsters and tries to muscle you to do what they want.

Yelp calls us every few weeks to introduce my new rep. They can’t seem to keep anyone. That new rep will then start soliciting for us to purchase ads. I’ll then proceed to tell him everything awful with yelp. 6-10 weeks later we repeat this cycle.
