What about riding horses? If the horse rode you would you want to do it?

Pretty sure riding a horse doesn't kill the horse. Also, horses that are ridden in almost every instance have a long relationship with their rider. But for example, hiding behind trees to kill deer or in a duck blind to hunt ducks....hmmmm, hardly compares to trench warfare in WW1 does it?

I do put keeping the population of certain animals under control obviously very acceptable when if they weren't hunted the species would suffer due to its own overpopulation...not enough food, etc. That also goes to preventing some animals from causing dangerous reduction in the numbers of other species thus the predators need to be controlled. But hunting just for fun in a one-sided exercises...not very tough or brave in my book. Just an exercise in ego.

You wrote a paragraph on why hunting is important and then say it is ego

Who compared it to trench warfare?

Who said it was tough or brave?

People enjoy doing it and eat the meat. If you don't, then stop being a bleeding vagina and move along.

Those chickens & cows you eat are poor defenseless animals as well but I bet you eat the shite out of em.

Is it an “exercise in ego” for you to hit KFC on the way home?

Hard to know where to start, this is so unhinged. Why is the death of the animal necessary? But if it is, okay, what about slaughtering cows to eat steak? You do that, honcho? Do you eat steak? That’s all well and good, but what if the cow was eating you? Not so good? See? It’s still stupid.

Did you really just compare hunting to WWI? I’ve always known you were an idiot but damn, you’ve reached new levels.
