He could have said, "I agree in sentiment, but this is impossible for xyz reasons". This really just summarizes his campaign and everything preluding his run.

He's one of the most obtuse politician in the current political climate.

So he should articulate that instead of leaving it up to an interpretation that he may just be bitter he got to wear his arse for a hat in an election that may have ended his political aspirations.

So, he should lie, and tell people what they want to hear. A wink and a nod, like the Democrats do.


Do you want people to lie to you, or do you want people to stand on principle and govern that way.

Ask yourselves this. Who gets to pick and choose who’s the victim, and deserves the bailout?

If you let something like this fly, have fun paying off all of those Gender Studies student loans.

Remember what they say about letting the camel’s nose under the tent. You’re going to wake up next to a camel.
