Be a parent and not a friend, just say NO.

You were born American so have a choice. So you raise your child or do you give that up because they hyped you with peer pressure. What city do you live in?

And it was a big nothing.
The 30 minute meeting of DEI, was basically do not use the following words in any MLSNext sanctioned event. Doing so will be a 3 game suspension. Parents caught using them towards a player get a 6 month suspension from attending games.
I was wise to ignore all the advice given here

All male league, should not need to worry about trannies.
White (non-Latino) are a minority of the players, so our privilege has been checked already.

P*ssy?
Pissy
Negro?
Negroid is a subset of the human race along with mongoloid and caucaszoid.

Pussy and c unt. We cannot even say c unt here. Chicken and his woke shite.
Negro is a stretch IMO, but basically do not use their race in a derogatory way. Colored is not on there, but you cannot call a player "colored boy".
Simple rule - Don't be an a-hole.

Why the heck does DEI have to do with soccer?
I know white kids are at a significant DISADVANTAGE.
The black kids in soccer are typically super athletic and talented.
And, the hispanic kids play soccer like it's their first language.
DEI in soccer, if anything, should be about lifting white kids up.

requirement for player and one parent to attend
They've probably already told your kid that you're a phobe and bigot if you speak against any of the points of DEI and the one parent rule is so you'll be outnumbered with no backup. So they have your kid looking for certain cues that will affirm in their mind what the faculty said as true, and they may even stand against you.
You should expect you're whole family dynamic to change. I would go with the wife and leave the child at home and flip tables at the meeting. Don't send your kid to play there and don't risk your child being brainwashed

would go with the kid, for a training session.
These folks have already had access to the child. They've been teaching a side that you probably haven't even discussed or hinted your position to your child. I say save the child. Talk to the kid but first ask what they think so you know what's been said already.

Haha play it down. But deep down you expected it to be one at that level else you would t have come here asking would you?
Glad it wasn't but you joking here just lets me know you had a sigh of relief. That's telling.

Have a kid who plays in MLSNext soccer and this is a requirement for player and one parent to attend. If we do not, he cannot play. They kind of skipped this requirement when joining team last Summer
Tell them a lawsuit is coming if they dare hold you kid out.
