Ward should be starting or playing 25+ minutes per game.
He's playing 19 now. And while I would be incline to agree with you, the concern is he is a liability on defense. Really only just ahead of Baker and Cook. Plus, he's a bit of a one-trick pony right now with his 3 point shooting. Cook, Wright and Williams have a bit more all-around production...with Wright and Williams being two of your best defenders.
The question then becomes how much defense are you willing to give up for the added shooting? 20-25 MP sounds reasonable.

You’re not giving anything up by starting him. Our D is good because of our length stopping shots in the paint. We get steals because nobody is going inside on us and our wings can jump passing lanes without fear. What’s hurting us is our offense and Ward gives you several things there. His shooting would take a lot of the help away from Cook and Wright t give them more space, he’s a very good passer, doesn’t turn the ball over at all and his length would provide some matchup issue against Wright. Who do you put your 2 man on, the 6-6 Wright or the 6-6 Ward? You’d also have Williams, who’s a natural PG, fresh to spell Cook and give your second unit a boost.
