Anyone been to either? Pros/cons?

I've gone to Gaylord Nashville before. Love the property. Never did the indoor water stuff.

Great Wolf seems different. Maybe more kid friendly.

Prepare thy anus if you're going to opryland and plan to also pay for soundwaves tickets.

Ridiculously expensive but less redneckky than great wolf.

Great Wolf is great for kids under 10. Plan to spend a lot on the Magic Quest thing. It's actually a really fun scavenger hunt type game that uses magic wands to disclose clues.

We did Great Wolf in LaGrange for the first time a couple months ago, stayed 3 nights and 2 full days. Our 3 year old loved it and is still talking about wanting to go back. We apparently picked the perfect time to go though as the crowds was very low. Wife and I enjoyed it as well but both felt 2 full days was enough time there.

Make sure you sign up for the Great Wolf email list. While there, we ran into friends who told us they paid half of what we paid.

Great wolf is perfect for kids 13 and under. Always use a promo code and weekdays are half as expensive as the weekends.
