Whatever you think of his last few years (under Pelini and Daronte) he's still a dramatic upgrade over Steeples and Cooks. Now we wait to see if there'll be a safeties coach.

Think he wants more than just secondary coach… he supposedly interviewed for Bama DC job. Maybe he sticks in the NFL…

Raymond will come back with some fire. People just need to understand that it will take some time to rebuild that defense. We are really thin on that side of the ball. I expect marked improvement in year 1, but depth will still be a problem.
