There’s a lack of seriousness, lack of maturity vibe about Kiffin that would make me wary. There’s also the sense that he’s constantly looking for that next job. He’s improved Ole Miss exponentially, and good for them. Not my cup of tea, though, and at LSU, we should always be able to hire better than that.

Not in a million years. Kiffin is an a-hole who really hasn't been a winner anywhere. This season at Ole Miss is his highwater mark. I like that Kelly seems to have high integrity where I don't think LK does.

I personally think Kiffin is the best coach in college football. I would say higher risk, higher reward. He’s got 30 years of experience and he’s under 50. He’s the rare, rare mix of technician and recruiter. He can also effectively manage a program in the NIL/transfer portal area. Would not go out of my way to make that change, but if this did play out I’d personally be happy.

Kiffin is a gifted coach and recruiter. Probably a better overall package than Kelly.
