Also one year you are citing involved firing Jimmy lake midway through the season due to an incident with physical contact with a player not performance.
The team went on to lose every subsequent game.

I love folks who knee jerk react without thinking of their position. Just think if they have a reply they are “winning”.
So basically, what you are saying is that even though LSU had similar record in the time period, similar toxic cultures that needed cleaning, Brian Kelly doesn’t really deserve credit for the turnaround because hey, they dominantly won a title before all that.
You can’t praise BK while downplaying DeBeor for accomplishing similar things on a similar inherited situation.
