I respected Nick for what he built, it sucked losing but I understood what machine he was.

I never, ever want to lose to A&M the rest of my life. Frick that delusional cult.

When Saban left LSU for the NFL, we understood the reasoning behind the relatively amicable breakup.

When he lied & went to Alabama, it was like our ex-GF moving in with & marrying your grandfather. Hostility ramped up 1000%.

Now, that they are separated, the get-togethers won't nearly be as venomous.

I will never like losing to Bama. Maybe for some of you youngsters, hating Bama was about Saban. For those who have followed LSU football historically, losing to Bama was always hated. The Bear Bryant years were awful for LSU fans. Awful.

Saban leaving makes winning the game more likely.

If the media hadn’t pulled the whole 2011 nonsense I feel like we could appreciate Saban for what he did here and the hate wouldn’t be nearly as strong.

Hell, we beat Okie State then as defending champs Les doesn’t coach desperate in 2012 (badly designed fake FG and onside kick) and it’s us vs. UGA for the right to stomp Our Lady of Perpetual Overratedness

Aren’t homophobes extra likely to be gay? Always wondered why yall were so scared by it, but I’m pretty sure you’re just uncomfortable with the feelings rising up inside of you when around some gays.

Having said that, A&M is extra gay, but in the bad way.

Less painful?

There’s a reason the numbers 20-10 are etched in my brain and it’s not because of Saban. I hated Bama decades before the midget went there, frick them.

That’s why people were pissed at him, not because he left for the nfl but because when he couldn’t hack it, he went to the Gumps. The Saban hate would not be quite as thick if he’d gone somewhere else, but the Bama hate would be just as strong.

I stood in the pouring rain on November 10, 1979 until the end of that 3-0 loss to #1-ranked Alabama. My date that night stood right next to me cheering for the Tigers to the end.
You darn right I married her!... and still together. Saban is not why I "disliked" and continue to "dislike" Alabama.

My understanding is that saban will still have a office at bama. Do we really think much is gonna change? He will have the final word on anything.
