This makes it all worth it.

A 13th seed...really?
LSU's tied for 40th in the current BCS standings, and beat absolutely no one who is any good.

Just seeing a real looking bracket made out got me really excited thinking about how awesome a real playoff would be. Think about how crazy March Madness is, this could be like that. Of course I would only make it 8-12 teams at most

We would advance to the Sweet 16

If we played BYU like we did Arky we would be one and done.

I actually think we would win a few of those games

UF vs. USC in Finals there

USC, who the hell have they palyed. I say OU and UF. I hate the BS BCS but they seem to have it right in my opinion.

Ou and Uf couldn't make the finals against each other with that bracket.. did you even look at it?

64?!? That's crazy talk! If you included I-AA maybe, but anything more than 32 is whacked out. 16 would really cover it. I'd settle for 8.

I guess with this you would have an 8 game regular season.

We would make the semis of our bracket and lose to Oklahoma

I don't like Oklahoma (#1) and Texas (#2) being in the same region. Otherwise,

Troy is a 14 seed, we're a 13

Talk about making the regular season meaningless.

Seems like over-kill to me. I still ended up with OU vs. Florida for the championship.

FLA and OU would have to meet in the semis. Both of them can't advance. It will be a great game either way.
64 Teams is WAY too many teams considering there are only 119 Div 1 FBS teams. That means over 50% of the teams get in. That completely makes the regular season useless. Basically be bowl eligible and you are in. I know it is a "what if" and it will never happen, but the most I could see is 16 teams.
The NFL has almost 40% of the teams get in, and there are reasonable complaints about the regular season loses not meaning as much.
If there were a 4 or 8 team playoff then that would be between 3 and 6%. That in no way make the regular season irrelevant. Every year there are at least 3 or 4 that have more than legitimate arguments that they should be in. Two teams are not enough for the system of the computers and polls with the uneven schedule and unpredictability of the big games.
