So, put away your hand wringing towels.

Saban is gone. Gone will be his unique methods and decision making.

Bama couldn't replace the Bear and they won't be able to replace Nick Saban.

They will try. They still have a loaded roster. It simply won't be the same.

Of course not. Lanning’s biggest win in 2 years was beating Deion Sanders. A bit different in the SEC

They never got that hc in waiting they wanted. Fatal error by Bama.

Whoever is hired, it’s going to be so weird seeing a different personality as the HC at Bama. Saban is so consistent, so loved by the media, so stoic and process driven, and so professional, and he’s been that way for 15 years. I can’t imagine a Dan Lanning coming in and taking the reigns from him and not looking like an immature little kid

Bama has won 7 national titles since Bear Bryant left.

It may not be immediate but eventually Saban will be replaced with someone at the same level. I doubt it will take as long this time.

Because there’s a multigenerational, iconic, transformative coach on every street corner? LOL. You’re in for a rude awakening.

Oh they are going to try to find the next GOAT coach like every other school wants to do? Shocker

No, because it's easier to be in the running for a national title now.

This will be the biggest difference. No other coach would have won the SECw, SEC, and made CFP with this team.

Imagine a new coach having same type season with bad Oline play, Milroe, avg defense and going 10-2…pitch forks would be out in full force.

Nobody will win like Nick Saban just won for a long, long time. Even Kirby Smart will struggle to match the consistency and dominance of Alabama under Nick Saban.

'Bama will likely become a victim of its own success. Nobody will win like Saban, so the fans will be merciless and run everyone out of town.

It'll be a repeat of 'Bama from '83 to '07. But who even knows if there will be another Nick Saban anytime in the next 20-50 years to ride into 'Bama in the future.

think they will lose players to the portal so next year's team wont be as strong as it would've been with saban still in charge.

bammer fans will start grumbling in year 1. whoever the new coach is, they have no chance.

Lol. False. Here’s a news flash: without nick Saban running that program it will not be the same. They will still be good. Especially at first because they are still very talented but some of them will leave and I do t see how they recruit at the same clip. Not happening. It was a great run.
