Severe weather
This is getting so old.
Y’all are conditioning people to just ignore these warnings when it’s just a typical thunderstorm like this week.
What are we going to do when there is really a threat?
Is there a word for worse than “severe weather”?

I vote “ Going Disco” if it helps you cope. It’s what I use to describe weather that is out-performing the forecast or expectations.

So they missed a little with that one in south La. Will you survive this event or need a new order of tampons because it didn’t play out with worst case scenario?
My friend near Abita got roof damage and has two windows leaking in an old house from this storm.
Do you think the communities along the Florida panhandle that were rocked the other day feel like you do today?

No one asked you to read the thread. Feel free to ignore all discussion about the upcoming potential severe weather. Feel free to ignore any watches or warnings, as well.
Those of us who are interested in the topic are going to keep talking about it, though. By the way, that system that posed the threat Monday/Tuesday resulted in multiple tornadoes in Alabama and the Florida panhandle. I guess those don’t count, though.
