Interesting. Auburn probably wins 2-3 games if their defense wasn’t top 45. Seemed to me like the only Auburn unit with a pulse this year.
He got into scuffles with staff and drove Wes McGriff to take an off the field role and ultimately leave. McGriff and Freeze are close, so I can imagine Freeze started to lose trust in Roberts.

Billy is the goat at making up titles.
Should be in the HR department at IBM or something instead

People are underestimating Ron’s playoff experience
Took SELU there a few times during my college days

Roberts is a damn good football coach.

But not someone you want on your staff if you are trying to build culture. His parting with Auburn had much more to do with issues in the locker room, how he treated other staff members and players, rather than performance.

The 4th and 31 architect
At least we’ll be getting blown out so much next year we won’t have to worry about blowing it during the last play

This sounds like how FSU had its staff structured those last few Bowden years. I wanna say Kevin Steele had that kind of title.

I thought Roberts did a good job with what he had. Don’t think he meshed well with our coaching staff.
He has familiarity with Billy so it should work better at UF

Man yall hired a POS head coach and are trying to lecture the board about Ron Roberts. He is a tremendous coach and his coaching tree is a damn good one.
