Last five games he has been very good. Stats and the eyeball test. He was gonna be the starter next year either way.

I’m trying to think of a single qb in the nfl I’d take over him right now and I’m just not finding one. He was elite these last few games.

Bottom line is statistics never tell the full story in today’s offenses.

As a Saints fan you're hoping he's the QB who showed up in the last 5 games. Kirk Cousins-esque. The others games were mostly trash. An optimist would chalk it up to a bad o-line and getting adjusted to a new system and players.

Give him credit. It can take time to get in a rhythm. Not everyone will show up and win a superbowl year one. That's the exception.
The whole team was inconsistent. Michael Thomas doesn't exist. OLine took him out of multiple games. Running game didn't appear till the last few games. He didn't have that much to work with. Team played really good at the end.
Someone else may be better, sure. But I think he gets the brunt of frustration for the season that isn't entirely valid.

Right. Apparently the logic is that we wont “win a Super Bowl” and that making the playoffs doesnt matter. As if championships grow on trees.

Carr’s stats are what we expected, and its a down year for qbs.
Penning flopping, Ramczyk injured, and Cam finally getting old was the diff this season. We were hoping Penning developed and our vets help up for another year or two.
We will readjust.
Several of 2022’s 9-8 teams are doing fine right now.
This year was hopefully a building block. We def need to hit on our 1st/2nd round picks.
