I wonder if there's much time this game where we put both JV and Larry on the floor together to guard Gobert and KAT.

I have conflicting feelings about this.
I'd much rather go small and run them off the floor when Kat and Gobert are out there, I feel like Willie reacts instead of dictates how we should play.
Force them to run with us, switch 1-5 with Larry, and make them stop us.

make Gobert and Kat defend.
We're shooting 41% from 3 the last 11 games. We keep that up and we can easily win this game. Gobert has yet to figure out how to stop Zion.
Zion's points in the last 2 games against Minny Gobert: 36 and 43, and if you go back to the previous game with no Gobert in 2021 he had 37. and in 2021 with Gobert in Utah Zion had 26, 27 and 32 against him, and all of those game he was above 60% from the field.
and i will say that since the IST debacle, Zion has appeared to be in better shape, and you can definitely see him giving more effort, especially defensively.

The problem is that Larry is our only good matchup on KAT. If KAT starts going off, then the way to stop that is to put Larry on KAT and JV on Gobert.
I just don't think that switching smaller players onto KAT works. We'll see.

Honestly, this B2B is stupid and brutal considering they play here again on Friday. Hopefully he stayed home to rehab a bit and we’ll see him Friday.
