This is going to come off as a dig/negative comment but it's not.

This game showed how good he could be if he was used properly. In 2023, Mason Taylor was more so used as a decoy and blocking tight end who ran the occasional checkdown/option route. That's what we needed him to be in 2023.

In 2024, with the lack of quarterback run, we need him to be a vertical threat, and he's shown that he can absolutely be that.

His lack of use/production was one of my only gripes about our offense this past year.

His game fits better with Nuss.

Jayden didn’t really need the check down often. He just took off
