Why was there a dumpster fire to start with?

Ed O is no longer a part of this program and hasn't been for over 2 years. The roster is now (over)stocked with players. We are now into the 3rd offseason with BK and his system. We're still blaming Ed?

Uhh, yes?

How many juniors and seniors that came from O's program have made an impact this year?

We are still blaming Ed for the last two seasons, yes! Next year is on Kelly. As he said, he has finally gotten the program stabilized after Ed hosed it up badly.

Yes...When you are responsible for the near death of a program you will have to take the blame for a long time. CBK has done an awesome job considering what he inherited.

EO I was responsible for the 2020 and 2021 signing classes and for laying the groundwork for the 2022 class. He was also responsible for getting in with recruits for the 2023 class although not as much as the 2022 class.

A majority of the two deep we saw this year should have been Orgeron signees and commitments.

There’s no question or defensive coaching has been lacking, but it’s also obvious that we lack talent on defense and a large number of the recruits we thought would be good were not good.

Looking forward to 2024 it’s obvious we need to get better on defense. You can’t get to Atlanta or make the playoffs with a D like we played this year. We won’t have 5, 8 and 11 so we also need to improve our running attack and develop some kids at WR.

EO’s fingerprints; however, will still be on the program. There will be some good players remaining that he brought in, but there aren’t as many as you’d like to see.

But BK has had time to fill the holes. There is no disagreement there. The portal can cover up a lot of things. We see that even from the playoff teams.
