That was some elite level play. Better than most MLB playoff games.

That CWS was so damn fun.
Beating Tennessee twice.
Coming back to win 2 against a great Wake team.
The walk off against Florida.
Getting blown out in game 2 only to come back and shove it down their overconfident throats to win it all.
DEMOLISHING the Jell-O shot record.
EPIC frickING RUN!

I just got chills all over again. I was at that game live - all of them, actually. Unbelievable experience. Watching the excitement and joy on my son's face is a lifetime memory. Thank you, Tanks - and all of the LSU baseball team!

honestly, somehow, this doesn’t get talked about that much.
it’s maybe the second most celebrated play of that game behind the out at home.

I’ll never get tired of watching that pitcher’s life flash before his eyes.

This Skenes kid is pretty good. Keep an eye on him.

He makes it look so easy, effortless. Just an easy swing and the ball just keeps going.
Pow!

The only negative thing about that game is that it wasn’t the championship game. Those were the two best teams in college baseball playing their best game of the season. It deserved Championship Game status (and would be even more fondly remembered if it was).
Still, it was the best baseball game many of us ever saw. Massive “thank you” to both teams.
