NIL deals technically have to be structured so they aren't tied to you playing for a certain team. So a clause that you have to play a bowl game would need to be extremely broad.

It seems people confuse NIL for a 1099 type contract.

No one really knows, do they? NIL seems to have been thrown out there with zero guidelines on how it operates. Terrible mistake.

Paid for past performance? Potential performance? Or just for being?


This is worse than free agency for pros.
