Here's the Pop Tarts Bowl mascot being eaten

They disappeared the humanoid mascot into a giant toaster which then dispersed a separate treat.
I gotta admit I'm a little disappointed. With all the broadcast hype about how the live mascot was going to be devoured, I was hoping for someone to take a bite out of his midsection.

I wanted to see him walking around as a strawberry pop tart and looking like he was a Saw participant by the time they were done.

I have a question about his sign. So is it that his dream was to get toasted and finally eaten? Or was it that he was having fun dancing and living his dream with everyone celebrating him, unaware that he was about to be lowered, killed, and devoured?
ETA: I saw that he was pointing down as he was lowered so maybe that answers. But still damn poor pop tart

I dont know about the logistics of developing a giant strawberry poptart into a wearable/edible costume. And I don't care. They made that promise and I expect them to deliver.
