browning requires you return the whole gun for a warranty replacement, so the alternative would be buying your own new stock...to each his own

Or camo duck tape. I will probably send mine back in a few months. Do the replacement stocks have any coating? Just composite?

Correct and you have to go thru the approval process etc again. Had to send one back and all I needed was the barrel, they sent new gun.
