Boy, I would never send them the whole rifle if there was just a stock issue. Playing with fire there, when the alternative is backing out 2 screws.

browning requires you return the whole gun for a warranty replacement, so the alternative would be buying your own new stock...to each his own

I don’t have a problem sending back the entire rifle. I’m an amateur gunsmith, and I’ve disassembled several firearms. I’ve had too many screw holes or pins not line up perfectly. I would rather have a factory gunsmith handle it, especially if it’s free. I’ll slap my scope back on, sight it in, and I’ll be ready to go.
