Sorry - it's the law. Unless you're a cafeteria Catholic.
Or a Baptist commenting from the outside.
As in... "Y'all really believe that nonsense?"

Ahh, the daily "Let's Hate On Catholicism" thread here on the Political Talk.

Protestants: Saved by grace through faith. Salvation costs nothing. Simple and easy. Accept Christ as your savior.
Catholics: Saved by grace through Jesus by following church traditions. Participate in the Eucharist. Confess your sins to a priest, who then must be given to Saints or Mary to pray and intercede for you. Must be baptized. Commit no mortal sins. Join the Catholic Church. Easy.
Which one seems to require the faith of a child and aligns with the Word?

Look, your religion was invented by men more than Fifteen Centuries after Christ walked the Earth. The men who invented your religion were after power, prestige and money, and their aim was to take some of those things from the Catholic Church.
The Early Church was the Catholic Church.
Here are a few articles to demonstrate that fact. From Catholic Answers.

I hate it. It's leading people to Hell. Nobody wants to say that but it's true.

They fail to mention, Mary doesn’t get your prayers, doesn’t intercede between you and God.

Catholics absolutely believe Mary advocates for them like the CFP committee for Alabama every December. They consider her an intercessor.

Sure seems to approach that of the "pope" depicted in the French augur Jean Raspail's Camp of the Saints. He's even from South America.
One who would have no problem rationalizing to himself the humanity in selling out the West to the hijrah hordes.

Do they not also believe she lived an absolutely perfect, sinless life and never had other children, correct?
Which is simply nonsense. She was blessed by God and chosen to be the mother to bring Jesus Christ into the world. That's it. She was certainly blessed by God, but not sinless. She also had four other sons, Joseph, James, Jude, and Simon and had daughters.

What is this wisdom that has been given to him? What deeds of power are being done by his hands! Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon, and are not his sisters here with us? (Mark 6:2-3)

Go read Catholic doctrine. Don't take my word for it. Go right to their website.

No I’m saying, they have failed to mention those things. As in, she doesn’t intercede or get your prayers. They think she does.
