If you are aware of priests molesting children you should immediately go to the police. If you are just slurring a group of Christians on Christmas morning, you are just small and sad.

He is the Anti-Pope and possibly the Anti-Christ.

Again, most Catholics have absolutely no idea what the Catholic Church teaches. Even less so the reasons why they believe what they believe.

I always debate whether posting a list of Catholic ridiculousness is worth my time...and then someone brings up some weird Protestant sect that handles snakes.

The thing about this Catholic Church nonsense is it's mainline. Not Jesuit fundamentalism...

1. Mass is part of the Eucharist, which is the live sacrifice of Christ.. Body and blood of Jesus are physically present as part of the ceremony. Bread and win convert. His sacrifice 2,000 years ago is not enough. Performing the eucharist sacrifice is essential for salvation. Christ is physically tortured over and over again at each Mass for the Catholic Church members.

2. Evolution of Mary. Mary is not just a vessel used my God to implant an embryo. She is mother of God and therefore deity now. She has no original sin. Essentially she is on the same level as Christ, as she also ascended to heaven. Can't remember is she was translated or died then rose. This is Catholic doctrine.

3. Papal authority. Only time that man word is considered infallible as God in all of history. These Popes also have a history of contradicting each other and changing Church policy on a whim. Either God is confused or this entire doctrine is nonsense. It's the latter.

There are many many more but those are the obvious. It's paganism with Christian façade.

‘Catholicism is a ritualistic bastardized version of Christianity.’

Christianity is Catholicism. Catholicism is what Christ gave us. The rest is bastardized, you twit.

If you’re a Catholic, I think you just committed a mortal sin. The pope is infallible, heathen.

Not even close to being the Antichrist. People will love the Antichrist. He will seemingly bring peace to a chaotic world and many will worship him because of that.

You really don't understand how that works do you?

No surprise.

The connection is not from being a Jesuit. His communism stems from his Latin American background. While a young priest the Latin American Catholic church was pushing for the communist shift occurring in several countries in the 1970s.

You would think the horrible result of communism in L.A. would have made him rethink. But priests do not study economics in seminary.

Totally false and not backed up by any scripture. Please show me where it is. And if you tell me Peter was the first pope, and that Jesus was going to put the beginning of the church on him, is just ludicrous.

How can someone infallible change his mind in two years? Was he wrong then or now or never wrong and God changed?

Papal infallibility is a bunch of hooey. While the catholic church may CLAIM his teachings are infallible, they certainly are not. All you have do to is look at many of his current teachings and rulings to see that. He's more "fallible" than Joe Biden.

Catholics haven't believed that in centuries. Something similar in our lifetime was birth control pills when they became common in the 1950s.
The papacy forbade them. Women came to the local pastor and explained they didn't have money for lots of kids and wanted to take the pill but still be good Catholics. All the local priests told them to relax, take the pill and don't worry about the Pope.

Sorry - it's the law. Unless you're a cafeteria Catholic.
