LSU won those games on the strength of stellar defense and strong running by Kenny Hilliard, Alfred Blue and Jeremy Hill. Mett was terrible with his scattershot passing vs A&M, and he threw a disastrous pick v SC which was potentially a 14 point turnaround early in that game.
LSU won those two games in spite of Mett, not because of. He was terrible
