Twice a year profit sharing bonus for the employees will get this CEO what he wants.

This is what I have for my employees. They are amazed by it, and get why we need to go 200% during certain times of the year. They perform. I also give them discretionary bonuses throughout the year. The company is several years old and has had no turnover.

I give them other cool perks to feel like a million bucks, like taking their family including in laws to a fancy dinner.

My business consultant told me that no one treats their employees as well as we do. He asked me if it was because of religious reasons. I responded that it was because I worked for a couple companies who expected more and more, gave less and less, set me up for failure, and if I made a human error (most cases caused by the intense workload) I would be held accountable and fired. However, if I would perform and handle my responsibilities, there was no bonus or discretionary raises. I did not get a raise over 4 years.

Meanwhile upper management is getting all these bonuses. One of the companies did nothing to grow the company and the executives just milked what they had. It took me a few years to realize the grass is greener somewhere else.

And one thing I also learned. Most people in upper management got there because they are narcissistic sociopaths. They care nothing about those they screw over to get to the top, have no remorse, are not thoughtful, and live in their own reality. They have no feelings. I feel awful for their spouses, but most of them can't balance that anyway and are on their 3rd wife.
