GE Monogram vs Thermador appliances

Not personal experience with the GE, but partners at work both have them and both had something go wrong, ie one a mother board and the other some type heating element/ resistor. Other than that they love them.

Thermador is not worth the price, burners are very light cast iron. If you're shopping in this price range, look at the JennAire for quality of build We purchased one in March of last year and it is solid, efficient and "HEAVY" with metal burner knobs, including the guts (all natural gas).

We have a Maytag Dishwasher going on 6 years now and it was a great buy at the time. Still running strong.

Fridge is a Samsung and running great for 8 years now (french Door style)

Microwave - We remodeled our kitchen in March and replaced the wall mount micro with a vented hood for the gas range. I converted our pantry to a walk in style "butler's pantry" and the counter top micro sits in there now. It used mainly to reheat the wifey's coffee and warm leftovers. We researched drawer style micro's but I opted for those budget dollars to go towards the gas range.
