Well he was hired to be an AD at Florida, not to be their coach. Kind of a different animal.

The question was hired away not hired away to be a coach elsewhere. Saban to Miami(NFL) as HC, Arnsparger to Florida as AD, Deitzel to Army as HC, and Bernie Moore to SEC commissioner.

We have a pattern of either waiting until the program in question is so far down that it is a rebuild. The last coach that left for an arguably upward job that I recall was Saban going to Miami.

Where’s the “or?” You said “either” but provided no “or.”

And I’m confused. You’re measuring the success of our programs by whether or not our head coaches are hired away? That’s idiotic. You don’t want your coaches hired away.

LSU is not a job you leave, its a job you try to attain.
