Obviously BK and staff want this guy, and I really hope we land him.

But I also think this dude will not end up being an immediate plug and play for us, if he comes here.

His potential is great by all accounts, but I just hope BK isn’t being used as a bargaining chip.

You’re not wrong but it would be very nice for BK and the coaches to basically lock up Louisiana recruiting

We don't really have the luxury of letting huge potential D-lineman leave the state when we are in our current situation on the defense.

this is good news in my eyes and helps get the family comfortable (which is extremely important). Hope they are blown away on the OV. Bring the little bro along with you on the OV as well!!!

There’s rarely plug and play DL

The last one at LSU was who, Davon Godchaux?

Wonder what changed. Seems like he was all A&M until the past week or so.

Was McKinley previously an ESD guy or was his plan to always wait until Feb?

If not, having him push his signing day and lock in an OV is huge. Definitely feels like he's not going to a&m at this point, hopefully we can talk him into staying home.

If Robinson was at A&M he’d be signing in December with the Aggies

If you are committed to a school and pass on an open period to sign with said school, then you are not committed

That includes Bussey

Look, you'd rather he be on the team and maybe turn out to be great than let him go with the possibility of it happening for a neighboring SEC rival.

Exactly. Laughable how everyone was calling this guy soft and how they didn’t want him. If he commits they’ll be calling him elite.

Wasn’t there a few so called insiders saying BK was no longer interested in getting him? Looks to be a lie

agreed. you can't make a living out of recruiting like this, but in full year 2 for BK, getting as many La studs in this class is a momentum builder for future recruiting. and, he'll likely eventually pan out as a player as well.

I want him but he does have some bad tendencies.

He has had multiple games, including the state championship game this year, where he looks like he is taking the game off. He looked the same when they played LCA.

I'm an Acadiana Alumni and I hope the guy blows it up at LSU but he will be at least a small bit of a project. His physical tools give him the chance to be elite.

And on another note, some folks have said his brother may end up being the better player in the end, and taking Dominick may be the best path to getting Darryus. I do not have any inside info there so it may be a West-Whit situation or it may be a Leanard-Lanard.

This was my point a few days ago. Before the staff change, I felt like it would have been time wasted, but now you at least have to put in the effort. What happens happens.
