maybe he should really think about pushing Les to make the fricking change a.s.a.p. so people can start to believe we are heading in the right direction. With everything at a standstill I know I'm certainly not willing to shell out that type of cash to go and watch the same uninspired bullshite I sat through all season.

Now, make a bold statement and show me some changes and I could be persuaded....

Do you think that a brand new guy who never met any of his players or assistants is going to make material changes in a defensive system in 3 weeks utilizing the same personnel?

Better yet, just stop the previous question after the first 3 words.

This year's bowl and next year's defense have pretty much nothing to do with each other.

Support your team
Players can't help it, Miles hasn't hired a DC yet.

Lou Tepper could be our head coach, Hal Mumme our offensive coordinator, and Mike Shula our defensive coordinator and I'd still travel to watch the Tigers.

I root for LSU. Simple as that.

But you have more practice time in trying to implement a new system.

Way to be a fricking douche.

Where did I say a new scheme should be installed before the bowl game? I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Someone needs to inject some confidence into this fan base right now and having Les show us that he's making the necessary changes NOW rather then wait around like he did last year to get us stuck with our current cluster-frick, is key to selling more bowl tickets.

Someone needs to slap the shite out of you whiny, crybaby faction of the LSU fanbase and THEN ignore you.

I am sick to death of the "not fast enough to suit me" crowd.

Gotta love the new LSU fanbase. You guys would have never survived the Hallman years.

Maybe so, but something needs to be done soon. I never said I don't support the Tigers but you have a serious amount of "Miles doubters" out there and they're just waiting to see if he screws up the DC search. If he makes a move in the next week or so i guarantee we sell our allotment with no problem.

Hard to say what the next 4 or 5 years will bring for the football program. But it's pretty clear that the reputation of the LSU fanbase as being among the most loyal and fanatical in the country is waning rapidly. The national media spotlight that has come to LSU in the last 10 years has illuminated some pretty serious flaws in that myth.

Yeah, I'm the "new fanbase." If by new you mean this will be my 30th year in Tiger Stadium, then yes, I'm as new as they get I guess.

This is the problem with the internet. The media goes to a website, looks as a few ignorant posts, and reads the thought process (or lack thereof) into the entire fanbase - and then publishes it as gospel. I hate being lumped in with idiots.

I'm sure Les will do what's right for the program. As mentioned above, people should just quit whining and let him do it.

I can only imagine how much whining you did back then.

No. We were all there. That's what we're trying to avoid right now.

Your profile says you were born in 86. You were buying season tickets at the ripe old age of 5?

at the very least a new DC will be able to implement some what of a game plan and possibly win back the players

2 things neither of our current DCs can do
