The guy responded with 36 points on the leagues best defense. But still not enough lol He responded- next step keep showing it.

This is the first time in his career that when he's on he court he's not playing well.

Tonight was step one. Stop waiting for him to fail and just watch the games.

I certainly prefer Zion to be super aggressive and active on defense like he was tonight, but it definitely just pisses me off even more about his nonsense last game lol.

Hopefully it was his rock bottom and he's finally realizing what it takes to win games.

He needs to be killer Zion instead of this all around good offensive player Zion. I'd love more 3 assist nights if he's putting up 35 on 17 shots.

His hustle was there on defense finally. It's basic shite but his athleticism even at this size can make him an average defender.

We say this everytime and then he reverts back.

I won't buy it until I see a more sustained output from him.

A birdie said a few of the players had a long night in Vegas the night before/day of the game...

That's why the leak from the team came out....

He knows why all of a sudden news was released about the brass not happy with not just his weight but a few behind the scene things as well.

100%.

Like I said, happy he did it but not falling for it. Not going to assume we got the Zion we want going forward. Need to see this sustained for a long time before I'll feel comfortable that he won't fall back into lazy mode. It is what it is at this point.

everyone saying he’s still out of shape should be even MORE excited because all it took was a MENTAL adjustment to go from that game against the lakers to today’s performance.

our next 3 are wizards, hornets, spurs

let’s keep this level of play and we will go places

Eh with him honestly let him string some games together and then see later on if its best to trade him in the offseason or not if the organization thinks hes full of shite. If anything this helps his trade value. Him playing well is good on a lot of fronts.

Nah, trading him means we're getting, at best, .50 cents on the dollar because the only way we trade him is if he completely goes in the tank and kills his value.

There's only one way this works out for us, and that's Zion realizing his potential. I'm still holding out hope for it, but I've also been burned by him in the past, so I need to see much more than just tonight's game for me to actually believe things are finally clicking for him.

I hate these stats, they don't account for intangibles and effort

even though he had a good offensive game, his effort was avg.at best. First few minutes of the game they showed a replay where Herb crashed the boards on a miss shot i think by CJ or BI, Zion just stood there and watched as Herb hustled, got the off rebound.

He's not even in the top 50 in rebounding which takes effort.

Think about it, when's the last time you saw zion get a fast break dunk? you have to run to do that.
