Again, I was being taught about the lampshades and soap in school when I was a kid. I think it was in the late 80's that those particular myths were debunked, so maybe that's why you never heard of them.

As of the overall kill count, it was pretty big news when they replaced the '4.1 million' plaque at Auschwitz and changed it to 1 million. I don't see how you'd have missed that one.

Same. Kind of ridiculous that one guy thought that a Bishop saying he didn’t believe gas chambers killed anyone counts as “reason for doubt” about gas chambers.

Makes me kind of embarrassed because he’s probably also from Louisiana.
