I know it was supposed to make you think, but hackers, Middle Easterners and Koreans (NorKos?) teaming up?

I took it to mean that it wasn’t North Koreans or Middle Easterners. I thought the point was that whoever was behind the attack was deliberately sowing disinformation as part of the effort to confuse/divide.

I understood the dialog about turning people against each other and fracturing/factioning people off and having them turn against the government. But would it have happened so quickly that the military wouild be sriking NYC to take out bridges/cut people off?

Again I think the point was that it wasn’t any kind of organized military campaign, but a result of fractures within the military and government.

I do agree that it’s extremely unlikely that things would escalate to that level, that quickly.

Watched it last night. It wasn’t good. It tried to be suspenseful but really wasn’t. Wife thought it was just eh. Do not recommend.

Correct. It was a false flag (likely by our own government) designed to be blamed on disparate nations.

Yes. And they even took time to inform the viewer of that very clearly at the end.
