Championship game could be Okla vs. Tx (LSU L to Ark)

It could be real close between TX and UF.
Sagarin ratings are out and UF is only 4.
Also you can add games in Colley and with last nights games UF is 3 behind OK and TX.
UF will need large margin in human polls to overcome computers.
UF will need to be ahead of TX by around .167 in Human polls to overcome computers.
You can add last night's games and change LSU/Ark on colley and see: LINK
LSU's Loss to ARK Worth about 1/10 of a point in computers or .003 in BCS for UF/TX. Maybe the difference.
Mallveto may have ruined someone else's season too.

there was one analysis that said another team's win last night, can't remember if it was Cincy or Hawaii, that would be a 60-40 chance Florida would be number 3 today. But I think the SEC championship win will help UF like it helped us last year, we shall see though. just says how f'd up the BCS is
and no i dont have a link, not sure what site 1 of the higher ups were using last night ..

The "market" doesn't think so. First Dibz on UF are well over $200 for the BCS Championship. They are $30 for UT and $170 for OK.

So if Texas gets in and there has been all this whining from Mack Brown about how head to head should matter the most, what does Texas Tech have to say about that? I mean head to head should matter most right Mack Brown?

I think some people's desire to see a messed up BCS helps them come up with such predictions. Not that I have a problem with the BCS falling on its face.
I just don't see any evidence that UF won't be in it. They'll jump over Texas from 4 to 2 in the coaches poll and from 2 to 1 in the harris poll. That is two thirds of the BCS formula. Computers won't make that up for Texas.

I won't watch another Big 12 rematch..I have seen the first one (so it doesn't now?)
Terrible for CFB and ratings if this happened
UT got screwed, but they shouldn't screw UF on top of it..
Idiots

I am just saying it is possible.
UF will need around a .167 margin over TX in Human polls to overcome computers and they will probably get that.
But remember the BCS is calculated on percentage of total votes not ranking in human polls.
It is more valuable to be ranked ahead by 1 spot in computer polls than human polls if the percentage of total votes is close.

Even Mack Brown doesn't always believe this. For an example, see 2006 after Texas A&M beat UT leaving both teams at 9-3. On his ballot, he had UT 7 spots ahead of A&M. What happened to head to head mattering most?

Dumb post!
Florida is going to get a huge jump in the polls due to them beating the #1 ranked team in the country.
It will be Florida vs Oklahoma in the Championship game.
The Horns didn't win their conference so they don't deserve to play in the championship game.....

Just curious why you believe this should matter? It does not matter in any other sport. Why College Football?

Completely agree. Selecting Texas, who didn't play for their conference championship, over the SEC champion is nonsensical. It could happen but it is not likely given what the SEC has accomplished in the last two NC games.

UF wins AP National Championship no matter. They'll at least be split titles.

I think it's more of a case that yesterday, Florida beat the #1 team by 11 points while Texas was out of sight/out of mind. That's the difference maker.
