They voted for a Muslim for president. They really don't care.

Dude this is flat out not true. You should talk to an actual Jewish person and especially his/her family about it. Especially the older ones (50 and up), a lot of them are extremely distraught about this and the response of some of the protesters.
So are they gonna vote Republican now?

None. I moved here from L.A. in 2020, where I knew a shite ton. Including one of my best and oldest friends, whose wife’s family is deeply upset, especially his father-in-law who is in full blown meltdown mode over the whole thing. As he describes it, his immediate family is just “really, really bummed.” Nice failed burn though.

Well, I never said that. Like the black vote, the Jewish vote will be democrat for the rest of our lives. But, they do care about Israel.

I would say that although there are some Jews who do not support Israel, the vast majority do. Not due to their policies per se, as Jews love to argue. But the idea of a place to go when Jew hating gets too onerous, is a strong, strong motivation.
As is evident now, even the US could turn on us.
I live in a small town in MS, in who’s past the synagogue was bombed as well as an attempt on the congregation president. Jew hating is always minutes away.
Tennessee has a large Jewish population due to the role of Memphis in the cotton business and banking in Nashville and education and government in Knoxville.
I personally haven’t voted Dem. Since the 80’s. I am able to have some intellectual honesty. But due to the labor movement and the emphasis on “empathy”, most Jews still vote left. Probably 95% outside of the south and about 70% in the south.
It is sheer lunacy. Israeli’s understand Trump and think better of him than Americans.
