Leading up to this game every college football “expert” pretty much laughed off Washington, called their win over Oregon an fluke, and said Oregon would win in a beat down. Plus the spread was Oregon -10. Put some respect on the team that already beat Oregon and has won several dogfights already this season.

Oregon was fed a healthy dose of rat poison.

Wasn’t just media. The money was all on Oregon too.

100%.

People also need to put some respect on Kalen DeBoers name.

24-2 as a head coach at Washington
9-0 vs. ranked teams
20 consecutive victories

This. A&M and MSU should have hired him instead when they had the chance.

It was pretty reasonable to think Oregon would win the rematch with how the teams appeared to be trending.

Washington balled out and earned it and proved a lot of people wrong

He wouldn’t have gone to State. Maybe A&M, but considering UW was still in the playoff race I would have considered it unlikely until the season was over.

I thought Kalen DeBoer was a great coach after going 11-2 last year. Washington will need to pull out the checkbook after this season because the guy is elite and only makes 4 million.

Funny thing is Oregon would be a TD favorite if they played again tomorrow

Not my money. Put a unit on the spread and half a unit on Washington ML.

Dude was an OC at Eastern Michigan less than a decade ago and now leading a P5 team to CFP. He's a fantastic coach

Sure it was reasonable, but the 10 point line and taking heads not even giving Washington a thought was ridiculous.

I thought Nebraska should have gone after him a few years ago
