Anyone have experience with
Li-Time Lithium batteries for troll motor?
If so, what's the verdict?
TIA

Not specifically with Li-Time but so far I've had good luck with the cheaper Chinese batteries on Amazon.
Have 4 12v 100ah DJLBERMPW (dumb name but it's an abbreviation for something) in my golf cart and they've been awesome.
Just put a Temgot 12v 200ah in my motorhome and it's great as well. Has low temp charging protection and an app to monitor the BMS.
I'd have no concerns with Li-Time.

To add a little more... I suspect you've already done this research but you'll need a Lithium specific charger and if you want to connect it to your alternator to re-charge on the water, you'll want an Li-BIM or a DC to DC charger to protect the alternator.

Put 3 LiTime mini LiFePO4 batteries in the boat six months ago to run MinnKota 36 volt trolling motor. Very impressive. Had 2 two day trips running spotlock non stop and the batteries came home at 50-75% charge. Using NOCO 3 bank charger setup to the lithium charge setting. 3 minis at 17 lbs each versus 3 agms at 35 lbs each. Only known issue- don’t charge in low temperature, no low temp protection in the brains. Pull the trigger with the specials they are running now.

What size boat and Ah batteries are you running? That’s important. I’m almost convinced most people could run 50Ah and be more than fine.

I have a 17ft Xpress bare bones boat. It has front and back decks and a small livewell in front of driver console. I have a Minn Kota 70lb 24V maxxum troll motor. My current batteries are Interstate size 24F. I believe they have 75ah
each.
One of the batteries has a gas leak. Which is concerning cause I've had a bad experience with leaking batteries in the past. They are 2 1/2 years old.
Would 50ah be sufficient?

I have 50AH on my bay boat and it's plenty

Hell I think most aluminum boats could run a 20Ah and be fine 90% of days. I just bought 100Ah for my 27 ft cat for offshore fishing, but I’m hoping they are overkill.

Last summer I installed 3 ampere 12v, and 36 v Ipilot, and a Noco genius 10x4. With a single plug in It charges my lead cranking battery, my lithiums, I can spot lock all day in strong tide and never run out of juice. Best investment ever. Without walking out to garage, I know my amperes are larger than 50amphour, but not sure if they are 100amphour, or somewhere in between.
Edit:They are 100 amphour... 22ft pathfinder boat

Leaning heavily with getting LiTime 100ah minis. They would fit perfect in my setup and I probably wouldn't have to charge batteries til every 4th or 5th fishing trip. It would be overkill, but screw it. lol

Spend your money on something you'll enjoy before the government takes it all or devalues it to zero...
