This is so one sided. LSU fanbase as a whole, as well as players don't give a frick about A&M.

Ya'll better quit the obsession with LSU.. your big brother UT is about to wreck your shite next year.
Texas is going to wreck the SEC, and I am not talking about them winning in sports. Causing problems in their conference is what they are best at.

I’m glad to have Texas coming in because of that. As soon as they figure out how much using Alabama fans as SEC officials affects the outcome of games, they’ve got the financial clout and brand recognition to get the SEC office moved out of the inbred shithole it’s sitting in.

History would definitely support this, but this is a little different than any of Texas’ prior ventures. Texas has always forced itself as the centerpiece of whatever conference it’s in (see: LHN) and the other schools needed Texas in the conference.
Now, the SEC doesn’t need Texas. LHN is being dismantled. It will get the same payout and vote count that Vandy gets. It doesn't hold the inequitable power it held in all of its prior conferences. I also just don’t see any of Bama, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, etc. letting themselves play second-fiddle to anyone.
That said, they could still frick it up with typical Texas bullshite, but it seems like the SEC is in a much different spot.
